Workshop Description

In this online workshop, Adelene will share her experience in teaching and sequencing this magical practice of relaxation and rest.

The focus of this workshop is on class management, practicality and potential challenges of teaching Restorative Yoga. Learn the art and science of sequencing a complete Restorative Yoga practice, and hone your skills to teach in a one-to-one or a group setting, in-person and online. There will be two Practical Lab demonstrations and debriefs to support our learning, and lots of opportunity for Q&A.

This workshop will be recorded and replay available for 6 months after the event

Adelene has been researching, experimenting and teaching Restorative Yoga since 2005. She offers Beginners Courses to Advanced intensives on Relax and Restore internationally. Please note that the intention for this workshop is on the practicality and management when practising and teaching Restorative Yoga.

It is highly recommended and encouraged to explore the Level 1 & 2 intensives (35 hours x2) for in depth study of Restorative poses, setups and alignments, principles, philosophy and theory.

This workshop is suitable and open to those who have some experience with Restorative Yoga, and especially helpful for those who intend to teach Restorative classes or to incorporate Restorative Yoga into general classes.

Meet the Teacher

Adelene is a leading teacher of restorative yoga, with a particular specialism in yoga for scoliosis. She sees yoga as a journey of continuous, liberating experiences, open to everyone, and continues to be inspired by her main teachers, Judith Hanson Lasater and Donna Farhi, who she regularly assists on workshops and trainings.

Adelene believes in supporting and guiding her students to unveil their fullest potential, through embodiment and experiential exploration. She is particularly interested in the therapeutic applications of yoga. As a leading Restorative Yoga Trainer, she is absolutely committed to a balance of both active asana and restorative practices.

Based in London, Adelene teaches internationally, with a special interest in Yoga for Scoliosis / Backcare, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and mentoring.
