Pelvic Integration Masterclass: Connecting to the Seat of Movement

The Arc Centre, London

Join Mary Richards, M.S. in yoga therapy, for a 3-hour class centred around the seat of movement, i.e., the pelvis. For those who have taken part in an online Pelvic Integration series with Mary, expect to go more in-depth in this face-to-face masterclass.

Mary Richards

What to Expect:

Mary will discuss the essential anatomy and kinesiology of the body's basin, focusing on the pelvic floor. She will guide us through movements to pacify cranky sacroiliac and hip joints and share techniques to support leaky bladders.

This dynamic class includes asana intended to:

  • reveal the inherent rhythms of the low back and sacrum,
  • challenge the myofascial tissues that surround the hips, and
  • work the energetic chain from the soles of the feet to the pelvic floor.

Mary will share modifications for each pose to meet our individual needs. In addition, we will practice a restorative pose and breathing technique to relax after the active series.

Who is this masterclass for?

All are welcome! Attendance will qualify Yoga Alliance (US) members for 3.5 CE hours.
